The research, involving over 93,000 participants across 46 countries, found that Finland tops the list with 69% news trust, while Greece trails at 19%. This erosion of trust coincides with a broader trend of reduced news consumption and selective avoidance, fueled by news fatigue and an abundance of sources. As social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube gain popularity for news consumption, the demand for relevant and concise content is growing, amid concerns about the reliability of AI-generated news.
